There are three stages of the Dragonfly life cycle. The egg, the nymph and the adult. They have a life span of more than a year, but very little of that time is spent as an adult.
They spend their entire lives near water sources. These beautiful winged warriors of the insect world will sadly cease to exist as water resources diminish due to pollution, droughts and human neglect.
